When Would One Take Zoloft For Anxiety And Nervousness Despite Its Various Side Effects And Adverse Effects Warnings?
Question: Hello. I have been prescribed Zoloft for anxiety and nervousness that is new to me. I just read the “most common side effect.” Why on earth would I want to take something with so many common side effects, exchanging one issue for another?

The only common side effect of this medication is GI upset for the first few days of taking it, which then goes away. Otherwise, it is a very safe medication and highly effective for anxiety. It is always up to you whether or not to take it, but it is an excellent medication for anxiety.
