Hello, I Have A Sensitive Problem And I'm Curious If

Question: Hello, I have a sensitive problem and I'm curious if I can get an answer. My scrotum is strangely inflammed on one side and is difficult to explain what it looks like but it is definitely not normal. I could take a picture and send it but it may just be a reaction to accidental peppermint oil exposure. Anyways, its not painful but its definitely a troubling development for me...if I send a picture of it, would you be willing to give me some guidance on it? Please let me know...thanks!

Brief Answer:
Dermatitis, cortisone cream & antihistaminic

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be dermatitis which could be due to peppermint oil.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for 7-8 days.
Also avoid harsh soaps and chemicals on this area.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
