Brief Answer:
No need to worry it's a benign cause as colonoscopy was normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for choosing 'Ask A Doctor' service,
I've read your details,

Thickening of the rectal wall is caused either by a cancerous condition or benign conditions like ischemia (less blood supply), Infection or Inflammation. As Colonoscopy is normal your condition is benign. Unless you have any problem or symptoms there is no need to worry.

However, a few tests like stool culture routine and microscopy.
Fecal calprotectin can be done to rule out the cause of inflammation or ischemia.
Rest assured, nothing needs to be done,

It's a benign condition.
Hope this answers your query/
Follow-ups are welcome.

Thanks
