Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Lower left abdominal area is the place where sigmoid colon is located. This is the only place in the abdomen where the intestine can be even palpated in thin persons. It is because this part of intestine is very close to the skin. And if it can be palpated, for sure it can be heard. And this is what probably gives you this growling. Such growling can be more intense due to bloatings. And so is swollen abdominal area.
Bloatings are most likely caused by diet or wrong bacterias in the intestine. So if you do not suffer from any pain, no nausea, vomiting, weight lost, blood in stool and your colonoscopy is clear, this should not worry you.
You should try avoid foods causing bloating (beans and gassy vegetables), avoid carbonated drinks, increase fiber XXXXXXX products and mineral water intake, do not chew gum, do not eat too fast. You can also try probiotics supplementation.
If all this things wont give any relief, you should have stool tested.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
