Question: Gall Bladder is distended with approximately 16 mm sized calculus within it. wall thickness is normal.no evidence of pericholcystic collection

Distension of Gallbladder is seen in Fasting conditions.
There is a stone.in the Gallbladder.As Gallbladder wall is.normal,there is no evidence of Infection, i.e.Cholecystitis.
Gallbladder stone can lead to.Acute Cholecystitis,Chronic Cholecystitis, Gangrene of the gallbladder etc.
So, Gallbladder should be removed to prevent future complications.
It can be done Routine activities can be resumed soon.
As it is not an Emergency,you can consult a Surgical Gastroenterologist and proceed further.
