Eye swab test cultures for bacteria and fungi to detect any infection and the antibiotic sensitivities.
It is usually done in injuries to detect any superadded infections in the area and to choose an antibiotic best for the treatment of infections.
It takes 48-72 hours for the test reports to be available.
