Question: Does D-rise 60000 i/u pills changes the physiology of the body completely? i have had very low Vitamin D about 8ng/ml earlier.
I was prescribed D-rise for 3 months , This was the cycle.
1.Weekly one D-rise Pill (60000 i/u ) for one month
2.Monthly one D-rise Pill for 2 months.
Again, after 3 months gap I started taking D-rise Pill (60000 i/u ) for 2 months(weekly once) .
Finally I checked Vitamin D level it was 58 ng/ml. It shows normal but my face got bulged up little bit is it temporary or is there anything serious?

Brief Answer:

Possibly unrelated

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The prescribed dose for Vitamin D supplementation is proper. It is unlikely to cause any disruptive changes in the physiology and I would not link the swelling of the face with the ongoing vitamin D supplementation.

I do not suppose that it is something serious. Nevertheless, I would insist you to upload an image. It will help me to suggest accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
