Doctor, Hi. Just A Quick Question Since U Know My

Question: Doctor, hi. Just a quick question since u know my long history with facial pains. Last couple of months, having an issue with bladder - feels inflamed, constant urgency with no urine, etc. Went to urologist and checked but nothing found amiss. He said it sounds like neurogenic overactive bladder and prescribed oxybutin which did not help. I'm sure you have dealt with this condition and wondering if either Neurontin or Lyrica would be of any help or any other med suggestion u may have. Thanks so much.

Just one footnote question so u needn't answer twice. The family doctor mentioned something called the pudental nerve that may affect bladder nerves in this symptomatic way. I assume any meds u may suggest may also help with this pudental nerve as well? Thanks, doctor.

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for the questions.

I have read your new question.

If there is thought to be a nerve dysfunction in the root of the bladder issues, I believe Lyrica and vitamin B complex supplements, should help.

Imaging the bladder also is necessary to exclude any bladder issues such as the thickening of the walls from an infection, for example.

Discuss with your Doctor these recommendations.

Hope this helps.
