Brief Answer:
If the trip is for a long period better to postpone it

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in HCM

I can understand your concern

According to the history you prescribe if the result of chest is ray is normal than it should be better to do an abdominal ultrasound.Sometimes the pain due to gallbladder may be feel on the left side or intestinal gases migh cause this concern.

So if the trip is 2-3 days you can continue Advil and when come back to contact your doctor for the ultrasound. If it is longer than you should think about it according to the intensity of the pain.

Hope to have been helpful
