Nitric oxide supplements or nitrate medications dilate blood vessels and have the potential to lower blood pressure. If you notice any symptoms related to low blood pressure then you should contact your doctor. These possible symptoms include dizziness, weakness, fainting, feeling cold and clammy, shortness of breath.

At present the only medications that cannot be used with this family of drugs are the phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors such as viagra, cialis or levitra. They worsen the blood pressure drop because they work in a similar way
