Question: My left calf hurts and I have to swell in the lower portion of the leg. Especially the ankle.

Hi,

The problem seem to be about the drainage of the blood into the thigh.

I think you should get color doppler of the vessels on the left side. This helps to understand if there is a problem with the veins on that side of the leg.

I suggest getting to a surgeon who can examine and order a color doppler test.

It is not good to get the massage done or take medicines without understanding the nature of the problem.
