Can Cleaning Chemicals Harm The Foetus?

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Nov 2014
Question: Hi, I got oven pride cleaner on my elbow. I washed it off but it has left a red burn Mark. It is not too bad, but I am more worried about the fact that I am pregnant and whether the chemicals can go I to blood stream (there is not blood on the burn) and harm the baby. Should I get the baby checked. I am 35 weeks and baby is moving around fine.

Many many thanks in advance.

There is no even theoretical possibilitly that it could hark you or your baby so you don't have to worry at all. Such substances can't be significantly absorbed by skin or enter blood stream. So just relax and don't worry and enjoy in your pregnancy. Wish you good health. Regards
