Brief Answer:
Infectivity is not equal to transmission

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Infectivity is not equal to transmission of infection. You are lucky that you did not get infected. You should abstain from intercourse till your partner is treated.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
