There is no known interaction of Benzonatate with any other medicine. Side effects include drowsiness, anaethetised respiratory tract, laryngospasm, etc. So I will not recommend its use for routine purposes to fight cold and flu. If you really need to take it, then take it in lowest possible dose and keep a minimum of 4 hours gap with other medicines.
