Brief Answer:
yes, may be due inflammatory response.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

Yes, granuloma annulare may show rise in white blood count due to inflammatory response. If possible kindly attach lesion image.

Please let me know do you have fever, redness, itching, discharge through lesion, ulcer?

In that case, for fever you can take tab. acetaminophen 500 mg every 6 hourly and for itching tab. claritine 10 mg once a day and continue hydrocortisone ointment locally.

Along with that I would suggest you to do random blood sugar level, TSH, lipid profile after dermatologist's opinion.

Let me know I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale.
