Brief Answer:
It may not cause diarrhea or weakness.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per many clinical studies, tablet Eliquis does not cause diarrhea or weaknesses. However, kindly follow up with a bit more information.

Please let me know does she have a fever, abdominal pain, nausea, blood in the stool, had any outside food?

Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. She may require complete hemogram, stool analysis, and antibiotics after detailed medical examination and physician's opinion.

Till then she can take tablet loperamide 2 mg after each loose stool up to maximum 12 mg per day. Keep yourself hydrated with electoral XXXXXXX (oral rehydration solution).

Along with that take soft and balanced diet. Do regular exercise for blood pressure monitoring. Watch for symptoms like bleeding through gums, black stool, blood on coughing. Then she may require dosage adjustment after consultation.

Hope I have answered your query...let me know if I can assist you further...

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
