Brief Answer:
Yes, It is Acute Infective Diarrhea

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

Since two members who ate out at Chinese restaurant developed sudden Vomiting, Diarrhea, Fever (Temperature change), this is probably due to Acute Gastrointestinal Infection causing Acute Gastroenteritis (You can call it as food poisoning)

I would like to know a few more details, before we can discuss the treatment part:
1. How many episodes of loose stools your son had since last night?
2. Any blood in stools?
3. Stools are voluminous or scanty?
4. Any Pain abdomen?
5. Is your husband continuously vomiting or just vomited in night?
6. What is the current status of both of them.

If you find situation serious, take them to a hospital.
Till you get Medical help ,Maintain Hydration. Give Salt, Sugar, Lemon water to both of them.

Reply with the answers of these questions so that i can help you better.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any query you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Ask for emergency medical help

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In this case you need a medical help.

They both require intravenous antibiotics and Intravenous fluid therapy.

There is no point in waiting, you should take them to a hospital.

Even if you can not drive, call emergency services.

See, you have to understand, in persons who are not vomiting and there vitals are stable, we start them on oral antibiotics, but since your husband is vomiting, the antibiotics won't help.

And you son has massive diarrhea, he would lend into dehydration and shock, if this continues.
Please call for emergency services.

If you have any further query, please ask me, else close the discussion and rate it.
