Are Persistent Facial Marks Indicative Of Abrasions After Being Slapped Across The Face?

Question: I got slapped across the face. Are these marks simply scratch marks, abrasions? Bruise? Burn marks from force to the skin? I’m worried about scarring and it not going away.

Hello,

They seem like abrasions. I suggest you apply a topical antibiotic e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin 2 % ointment, twice daily. They won't scar. They would scab and peel off in about a week to 10 days.
