Question: A year ago I developed some swelling directly over my left eyebrow. I noticed it but didn’t think it was a big deal. Shortly after I developed o sore between my eyes. The sore broke open and leaked clear fluid but mostly blood. I went to the dermatologist who thought it looked like a staph infection and gave me an antibiotic-she did not do a culture. It did not heal so I went to another doctor who cultured the now bigger sore but it came back with only abnormal skin flora. She did prescribe arythromicin (?) which helped for awhile but by four months the sore was back and even larger. Had a biopsy which showed nodules (which did really make sense) and he prescribed a steroid cream which did not help. I went to a general practitioner who did a full complement of blood work but everything is in the normal range. If it now a much larger area parts of which fill up with blood and break open then that cycle repeats. I have had sinus X-rays and a CT scan which showed no problems. I did have another culture that showed a type os strep bacteria but two courses of Penicillin have failed to clear it up. Also before all of this started I had two lesions on my lower left chin that also filled with blood. They eventually went away and I did not see a doctor for them. Since then that same will sometimes look swollen and red-it comes and goes but seems somehow related to what is Happening on my forehead. Please help
