Question: 1 yr/M UNDERWENT ROP TREATMENT FOR RIGHT EYE FOR PTHISIS BULBI . KINDLY CONFIRM PROGNOSIS AND OTHER RELATED COMPLICATION RELATED TO THE SAME.

Pthisis bulbi and ROP are different things

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for your question . Pthisis bulbi is the loss of structure of eye ball . Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is the abonrmal blood vessel development in the retina of a premature baby. Thr treatment for ROP is in the form of laser and injections or surgery to restore the retina as much as possible . There is still no treatment for pthisis bulbi dear . If you could share the medical records of the baby then I would be able to guide you better sir . If ROP treatment has been complete then he can except to have vision in the eye .
