If you are looking for a chest specialist, I think he is the best option you have in Pune. I had a prolonged cough and after a series of references, I met him. During this period I met some other chest specialist as well with few of them suggesting MRI/CT scan, biopsy etc.. without even giving some basic foundation as to why they are required. Dr. Abhyankar listens very patiently to the problem and then as clearly explains the issue in detail. Never has he suggested any test or medication which was of no use in final. Only problem is getting appointment. It always take more than a week before you get to meet him. So, if your problem is very acute, getting quick appointment to meet at his clinic may be a bit tough.
