Variable Blood Sugar Readings. Non-diabetic, Have Stress. Concerned

HI

I am non-diabetic. But I tested my BS several times over the last 2 days as i had access to a meter.

Following are the readings:

Day before yestday:
1) 2 hrs after a heavy lunch - 111
2) 3 hrs after lunch - 135
3) 5 hrs later lunch - 111
4) 6 hrs after lunch + 20 mins exercise - 89
5) 1 hr after dinner - 105
6) 2 hrs after dinner - 105 at 8 pm

yestday:
1) fasting at 2.30 am (6.5 hrs after eating) - 98
2) + 3 hrs after- i cudnt sleep after 2.30 am - 105
3) +1 hr + 30 mins running - 115 (without eating- maybe it jumped as i exercised on emplty stomach)
4) I hr after bfast - 150
5) 2 hrs after bfast - 98
6) 6 hrs after lunch - 89

today:
fasting after 15- 20 mins of intense exercise - 115

I must say that i am under extreme stress for the last 3-4 days and more so for the last 2 days since i started testing. My concerns are (1) fasting jumped up after exercising on empty stomach - is ti ok? (2) one 1 hr after eating no. is 150.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

All biological values have a circadian rhythm / they must vary – with time, physical and psychological influences and so on. Failure to change means problem!
Exercise stimulates adrenaline and other hormones – and ups the value by different mechanisms...
The variations are NORMAL and within range.

Stop testing! Psychological assessment and assistance will of benefit in stress...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
