Hello and welcome to HCM, Liver diseases cause elevated liver enzymes. SGOT and SGPT are two liver enzymes which are increased in liver cell damage. Gamma GT levels are increased in alcoholic liver disease. SGOT and SGPT are usually elevated together. Elevation of SGPT and gamma Gt in the absence of history of alcoholism is unlikely. You need to get these tests repeated. A past history of fever could be due the liver injury in past.
