Severe Hair Loss. Rash After Applying Hair Dye Started From Chest To Scalp. On Toprol XL Tab. Side Effect Of Cortisone?

I have been experiencing bizzare hairloss for two years. there could have been several triggers but the biggest thing was a rash three week after having my hair dye for the first time in 7 years. There was a rash on my chest back neck that went into my scalp. Also a week before the shedding started I was in a wavepool at Hershey Park.
I was in an accident a few months prior and on Toprol XL 50 mg for a long time that was increased to 150 mg. Not to mention stress due to death. Numberous things could have triggered it causing my Chronic TE. That is what my diagnosis was after two biopsies. Finally got the shedding under control with the exception of a few spots that have been burning for two years. They continue to shed hair and have dents in them. I am acquiring more deep dents as I go.
Can topical cortisone creams (prescription) cause these types of indentations in the scalp. They are also itchy at times. Hair falls in those areas. Is this skin atropy or would that only occur from steroid SHOTS.

Hi indentations on the scalp with hair loss can be due to steriod injections .may be they caused skin atrophy which leads to indentations whereas rash on the chest and back is due to dye.take evion e tablet to relieve from hairloss from atropied areas.the rash can be cured by antihistamine atarax 25 mg at night.a antibiotic and application of calamine lotion over the rash
