Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You have known hypertension for last 19 years, If your blood pressure is well controlled and you do not have any side effects of any drug, I do not understand the reason to change the drug.
You should know Losartan and Olmesartan belong to same group.
Please do not try to change such drugs by yourself as the blood pressure may shoot to dangerous level.
It is better that You consult your Physician and then examined and if there is any need to change the drugs, if really it is required than the dose may be reduced gradually.
There are individual variations so if the drug is working for you it should be all right for you.
If there is any cause for not being able to controlled Blood Pressure it can be searched and taken care of.
Hope this helps.
Take Care.
Good Luck.
