Had Arota Value Replacement. Had Pacemaker, Heart Stopped. Taking Coumadin. Can I Ever Get Off It?

I had arota value replacement with a bovine value, the trunk of the aorta replaced, the mitral value repaired, and 1 small artery that was clogged replaced. The surgeon said he woudl not have done the artery as it was a small one but since he used a vein for the aorta he decided to do this too. 2 days later I had a pacemaker. My heart stopped. They said for 10 seconds.
I have been on coumadin since. Can I ever get off it. I have asked several times and no one answers my questions.

Hi!

Yes you can get rid of coumadin, but to do so you should complete a full cardiac evaluation.

You should do:
Echo cardiogram
24 h rhythm monitoring
24 h pressure monitoring
