What Causes Itchy Bumps On The Leg?
My leg itched for a month but no rash was present. Eventually small bumps were present with no discoloration or redness. Two more weeks and the area is faint pink redness from scratching. Bumps still present. Does not seem to spread much at all or go away. What could this be? Bumps a similar to goose bumps. No head or discharge from them just small bumps.

Hi,
The itchy papular eruptions on legs may be prurigo. There may be some cause. It may be some irritant or allergen. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Cause may be house dust,house dust mite,soap,deodarants,clothes,insect..etc stress and anxiety may exacerbate the lesions. Aboid soap during bath. Blood tests may be done to rule out DM,anaemia,endocrinal diseases and other systemic diseases. Antihistaminics like levocetirizine and steroid in tappering dose may improve the condition. Steroid with antibiotic cream may be applied. You may be improved after few weeks. I hope you got my answer.
