How Soon Does Tamoxifen Starts Acting ?

Once taking Tamoxifen , how long does it take to start blocking estrogen production? How long does it then take to start stopping/reversing cancer(lowering tumor markers)?

effect of tamoxifen does start some days after starting it act as selective estrogen receptor modulator and have good effect on bone too, while adversely affect lining of uterus(endometrium) and cardiovascular system. generally effect on tumor marker is yet to decided as this tablet having cytostatic effect rather than cytocidal effect of chemotherapy,.
