Is Swollen Hard Testicle Due To Hernia?

My sixteen year old son was weight lifting on Saturday 2days later he has told me that he has a swollen hard testical. could this be a heria? he is really worried. I am his mother and I am out of my mind with worry for him and you want 15 pounds. I only asked as I cannot get an appointment. but don't worry yourselves we shall have a nervous xmas . hope you andyoure family have a lovely conscious free xmas

HI. This is an urgent case , to be examined by an urologist and ultrasonography with color doppler to be done immediately to rule out TORSION testis. This needs an urgent surgery.
If it is orchitis needs good antibiotic cover. Gorget about the pounds , think of the possible catastrophe due to late diagnosis and late treatment.
