Rash On Hand, Foot, Mouth. Is It Contagious?

yes hello my 1 year old has contracted hand foot and mouth. Rash broke out on his bottom first thing on saturday morning and just developed . Went to hospital on Sunday
I have 5 other kids at home am i able to send them too school as they have not got it, and i have a couple of pregnant friends that come to visit am i right to tell them not too visit at the moment ? only because 1 of them won't take no for an answer and i would hate for her to get sick

Hand foot and mouth disease is a viral disease and hence contagious.
You did an excellent job by asking others not to visit you.
Dont worry it is a self limiting condition and does not require any treatment.
