criteria for diabetes diagnosis are should meet one below
1 fasting plasma glucose>126 mg/dl
2 2 hour post meal plasma glucose level >200 mg/dl
3 random plasma glucose > 200 mg/dl

It means that the blood glucose level is higher than normal but not high enough to be diagnostic of diabetes. For fasting blood glucose, values of 101-125mg/dl qualify the client as prediabetic.
The goal is for the concerned should start life style and diet modifications so as to address the various risk factors that may quicken the onset of diabetes.

migrain never occur due to starvation or low blood glucose.....
yes light headedness occur in both of the above conditions....but this is not migrain....just correct the condition,and take some simple analgesic, headache will go away....
for migraine we first try simple analgesic,if they do not work,then there are 2 classes of drugs,that are migraine specific...we prescribe one of the two...
