Is there something that can be done like some sort of treatment to do at home to help with the pain of a blood clot. my husband has buldging veins in his left leg and groin. our dr put him on Warfarin a couple of days ago. My husband has not started the meds yet for fear of the adverse effects. I have been giving him asprin he can take up to 12 a day. He is taking 4 to 6 a day. He also has a rare genetic lung disease, that acts like emphysema his lung tissue looks like swiss cheese. he is 54 years old. I am just looking for some ways that I can help him here at home.
