Rare Genetic Lung Disease, Bulging Vein On Leg And Groin, Blood Clot. On Warfarin. What Is Wrong?

Is there something that can be done like some sort of treatment to do at home to help with the pain of a blood clot. my husband has buldging veins in his left leg and groin. our dr put him on Warfarin a couple of days ago. My husband has not started the meds yet for fear of the adverse effects. I have been giving him asprin he can take up to 12 a day. He is taking 4 to 6 a day. He also has a rare genetic lung disease, that acts like emphysema his lung tissue looks like swiss cheese. he is 54 years old. I am just looking for some ways that I can help him here at home. Thank you for your help. Jane Hoffman Im sorry I was not aware this would cost me. I have no $ on my credit card. I should have known it would cost me something. Im desperate for some help and would pay if I could. m sorry but I cant at this time. Sorry to waste your time. Thanks anyway. Jane

Hi, he need not worry about using warfarin, that is safer than the 12 tablets of asprin. More over if it didn't start declining, it is better to opt for surgecal removal of the clot.
i advise you to consult a vascular surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
