I have a suture slightly peeking out of my belly button from my Laparoscopy 10 days ago. Is this ok, will it dissolve on its own or need to be pulled out?
it depends on the suture material used. absorbable sutures will get absorbed and the excess will fall off. non absorbable sutures have to be removed, ideally between 8 to 10 days. consult ur surgeon on the type of material used.
