Usually call as cat gut suture and these dissolve within 7-10 days depending upon the size of ( diameter) of suture.
Even you can eat now , at once as 5 days passed.
I got 6 dissolvable stitches on my lip from the top right all the way into my lip.i did it mon and today is fri. How many more days until the stitches are gone?

Absorbabale sutures take variable amount of time to get absorbed, and it depends upon the material. It usually takes 10-14 days, but some sutures may take upto 8 weeks.
