What Causes Swollen Nerve And Severe Pressure On Brain For A Diabetic?
hi my daughter is 12 and is diabetic. in 2011 her eye dr noticed something in her optical nerve so she sent us to a optometrist and they diagnosed her with something. I cant remember the name. basically he said said dhe has these stones in her nerve that glow in the dark. I think that was to make her smile. but recently we had a scare. Her nerve was so swollen her brain had severe pressure on it. the dr put her on some drops to relieve the swelling of the nerve. can this be fixed without my daughter going blind like the original dr told me and what is the name of this rare disease?
Dear sir, i have gone through your query and understood your concerns.
From the details you have mentioned, most probably the disease is Optic neuritis. The problem can be fixed with proper treatment, good blood sugar and blood pressure control. So please take proper care with the help your opthalmologist as well as diabetologist. Thank you. Wishing her good health and a very bright future
