Does Neuropathy Cause Swelling In Feet And Ankles?

Hi Doc, I have been a juvy diabetic for 47 of my 48 years. i have had a uadroople bypass 3 yrs ago. my feet are both a little swollen and feels like bee stings my question is does nuropothy cause feet and ankles to swell? i know its painfull but the swelling is new I am concerned since I had the heart surgery, I actually had the bypass surg. before any heart attacks they found the blockages due to me keeping a close eye on my heaLTH ALSO MY MOM PASSED AT 44 OF HEART DISEASE.

Swelling in ankles and feet are not due to neuropathy but can be caused by various reasons like congestive heart failure,kidney or liver conditions,anemia and hypoprotenemia etc.
You must consult your doctor and get yourself properly investigated and treated.
