What Causes Fever And No Urination In Infants?

two weeks old baby boy having fever, cries and is not peeing.
Hospital has given antibiotics for UTI. Child and mother admitted in hospital for two weeks.
Will not such treatment affect the child adversely, his kidneys etc?
What do we do? Should we try natural therapy as a safer alternative?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I did not have the chance to see the complete reports of your baby..but by what you quote I assume it should have been a urinary infection. I think the hospital has acted in the best interests of your baby. Do not worry and do not go for alternative medications as they might have side effects. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health.
