just got my blood test back for employment (46 yr female), out of range: eGFR of 75, WBC 12.7, RDW 14.6, BUN 21, sodium 142, Co2 31, segs-bands 9.4; I m feeling very achey, & fatigued. Ps. I had a splenoctomy several years ago, now concerned that I have a serious infection...

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of blood report is as follows:
1. There is increase in total leukocyte count i.e. 12,700, the normal range is 4000-10,000/ cubic millimeter. The increase is common in bacterial infections.
There is presence of band forms, which again is suggestive of bacterial infection.
However, the blood result cannot identify the type of infection contracted.
You need to get further investigations to know the infectious focus.
There is slight decrease in GFR and increase in BUN.
You need to get the kidney function tests.
RDW is within normal limits.
