Would Zoloft(sertraline) Enhance Or Lengthen The Positive Effects Of Methyphenidate(ritalin)?

would zoloft(sertraline) enhance or lengthen the possitive effects of 20 mil Methyphenidate(ritalin)..I believe stimulants dextroamphetamine and ritalin are dopamine aganist and zoloft reacts with seratonin (slows the re-uptake). my problem is that if I take a 20 mil methanyl(ritalin) it rids my anxiety..more focused and does wonders for concentrating on my work...then after about an hour slams me down back to uncomfort and anxiety so does that mean my reuptake of dopamine is way to active?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, The mechanism of action of both the drugs are different. There are not documented interaction, good or bad reported with these two drugs. Although indication for both these drugs are totally different and I wonder how both of this drug has been prescribed to you together.
