What Causes Severe Depression After Taking Claritin-D?

I have been taking Claritin-D for 3 days, and am starting to feel an overwhelming depression in every area of my life. Everything I used to like makes me feel doom and gloom. There are certain things I was involved in, which brought me happiness and pleasure. Now I dread doing any of them. Could this medication make me feel this way, so quickly? I have evaluated what I am doing differently that could have caused such a sudden change in my life, and taking Claritin-D is when it all started. I am, also, extremely tired! Please help!!!! The loraridine component of claritine-D can cause depression in very rare cases. If I were your treating physician I would have prescribed you an antihistamine like fexofenadine(Allegra) to replace loratidine component and given other component that is pseudoephedrine seperately.
