My Hands Cramp Up And Stiffen, Kindly Suggestions

I think I may have carpal tunnel . Not to sure though. my symptoms are. If I am using my hands for a good period of time, using the same repetitive movements, my hands cramp up, and stiffen. Also everytime i use my hands or thumbs for any reason, I have to crack my thumbs. and they do crack everytime, I could crack them over and over again. The thumb cracking has been so bad that it is actually a habit now. Any suggestions ? or maybe a possible diagnosis, so I cant treat my problems.

Neurologist, Surgical Dr. N. R. Sreehari's  Response
Hello

Your problem seems some what like a carpal tunnel syndrome but not exactly. what could be done for this to do a nerve conduction study of both hands so that we can get a confirmation of carpal tunnel syndrome . By consulting a neurosurgeon it can treated well also . Dont worry before you conclude upon the diagnosis get an opinion from a neurosurgeon/orthopedic surgeon

take care bye
