Intermittent Painful Xiphoid Process. Really Troublesome. Have Not Had Any

intermittent painful xiphoid process. really troublesome. have not had any specific injury to that area. feel generally bloated in stomach area. sometimes light rub make xiphoid feel better (??). 53. decent health but slightly larger at 260 lbs. Gerd issues for 25+ years. past gall bladder removal 18yrs ago. appendix removal 10 yrs ago. esophageal ulcer 1 yr ago. small issue with panic/anxiety attacks over last 4 years. on nexium 40mg daily. atenolol 25mg daily. does xiphoid need removed?
