i have never had acne before but in the summer i had a flare up when i skipped my period for 3 months. It was only about 3-4 small cystic bumps on the sides of my cheek, very minor so i went to the doctor, she diagnosed me with PCOS and put me on monanessa. After the first month when i finally got my regular period, my face flared up into large, painful, inflamed cystic bumps. Every doctor told me to wait it out but it seemed to spread to my forehead and towards more the center of my face. i went to the derm and she gave me epiduo and antibiotics. I have been taking it for a month now with my birth control (i am at the end of the 3rd pack) and it seems slightly better but it is extremely frustrating as I used to have perfect skin. It has seemed to get better and then get worse all throughout this experience so i am not sure if it is actually getting better or if it is another one of those episodes. I am not sure what to do anymore.
