Yeast Infection By Washing Hair, Using Dryer. Dermatologist Told Caused By Anxieties. Right Medication?
hello have u ever heard of treating a yeast infection by washing your hair every day then using a blow dryer until your hair is completely dry .two drs told me it was caused by anxieyies my reg one and a dermatologist have both looked at my head then I had a nurse told me about the third .its been a month now and im ready to shave my head please help

Yeast infection is caused by a fungus.
Washing of hairs daily and make hairs dry can not cure the disease but making scalp skin clean and dry will help to stop spreading fungal infection.
You have to use anti-fungal cream or lotion and oral anti-fungal medicine.

1. there are reference of treating "Seborrheic Dermatitis" from 1750 to 1900 in Google book archives.
2. It can be passed from Dogs [malassezia (yeast infection)] to Humans, so make sure you are not intimately in contact with one!
3. because there is infection of the hair shaft and/or follicle thus hairs must be removed, rather than washing and drying,to stimulate new hair growth.
