Would Taking Pain Killer Cause Excess Weight Gain?
hi.. my age is 21 and my height is 5feet 1 inch. sir, i used to weigh 74kgs but last year in october i joined gym and underwent a strict diet thats how i lost around 13 kgs. Last month during menstruation period, i took pain killer(cyclopam) to get rid of the abdomen pain . After 20 mins of taking that pill, suddenly i felt palpitations. MY heart beat was so fast that i had to consult a doctor that time. He told me that I am suffering from extreme weakness because of the diet which i was following vigourously and that is why that medicine showed some side effects. He advised me to stop dieting and gym for 2 months. I did so. But yesterday only i measured my weight. I was shocked to see that I gained 7kgs in just 1month. I am feeling very low. Please help me what to do. I went on a strict diet and gym which made me very weak and now as i have started eating i have gained so much weight. I dont know what to do now. I am again an obese now. Please help

Hello, I can understand your concern.Reason for your weight gain could be due to rebound effect.Any diet and weight loss program done in a gradual manner will definitely give long term results.Else you may land up in weakness as happened in your case.Following these small tips will help you in consistent weight loss * Frequent and divided meals * Including foods rich in fiber, avoiding refined sugars and carbs. * Including lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. * Drinking plenty of water * Exercise 30-45 minutes a day. You may be following these for the last one year.Along with reducing calories its important as what quality of food you are taking.Taking foods like fruits and vegetables rich in fiber and water content will help you lose weight but will not cause weakness.Hope you recover soon and good luck for your weight loss
