Would Intake Of Anesthesia Cause Cough?

I had general anesthesia about a month ago and since then have had a cough that is getting slowly worse. I wheeze when I lie doen and it sounds like musical notes are coming out of my chest. It is worse at night. Todasy during the afternoon it was very bad and I kept getting a metallic tste with the cough.There is barely any phlegm and inhaler helps it a little bit, dayquil helps more, but it huts.

I can understand your concern.
Yes, anesthetic drugs can cause similar symptoms.
Actually these drugs can cause bronchitis. And bronchitis can cause wheezing, cough etc.
Do better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (pulmonary function test).
PFT will not only diagnose bronchitis but it will also tell you about severity of the disease.
And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
You may need newer long acting inhaled bronchodilator and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS).
Don't worry, with proper treatment, you will be alright.
