Hello,

You have history of having thrush infection. Presently you are having delayed period. You have taken 3 pregnancy tests and they show negative report. Yeast infections are not the cause of irregular menstrual cycles, they do not cause delayed periods. Delayed periods may be due to hormonal changes, ectopic pregnancy, anemia, poor generalized heath condition, PCOD, cysts, etc.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN, get per vaginal examination done, get USG (uterus and fallopian tube) done to detect or rule out ectopic pregnancy. During regular periods the female mucous genitals create a favorable environment for the onset of fungal disease. The body's hormonal balance is disturbed during menses and may trigger the development of the fungus. Take care of your hygiene. You will be accordingly treated. Stay away from stress and addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
