Will The Wound In The Child S Hand Heal After Surgery?

my daughter is 7 month old and she hasa cut n her left hand well its on the left hand but on the left side near her wrst its pretty deep as u can see the musscle tissues she has to see a hand surgeon and plastic surgeon tomoorw they said bout a local anasthetc but i am just woundering will they di it by numbong and clossing the cut or will they put her to sleep

local anaesthesia just makes the area of interest painless and its very safe.
for small procedures child dosent need to be sedated .
child might be scared and might wail during the procedure but their wont be any pain.
Following the procedure child might need pain killer which they will suggest along with antibiotics.
