Will The Hair Growth Be Normal After The Attack Of Dengue Fever?

I had dengey fever that lasted for about 4-6 weeks and appeared to be getting better by Christmas time. I am now experiencing hair loss - it has been of the past few weeks and I have lost at lease 1/5 of my hair (lucky for me I have thick hair). Is the condition going back to dengey fever and will the hair grow back?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe,It is a temporary change due to the deficiency of the vitamins, iron and proteins during the convalescence, and the process of the disease.
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms minoxidil lotion, injections of vitamin A ,and multivitamins.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good health and resistance.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
