Will Taking Omega 3 Fatty Acid Cause Micro Embolism?

I am 49 yr, 5 8 tall and am 68kg and healthy with no medical challenges. I take supplements regularly. I have been informed that regular intake of cap. omega 3 fatty acid causes micro embolisms and should refrain from taking omega3 fatty acids. Is this a fact.

Hi,

There is no evidence proving that regular omega-3 fatty acids intake causes micro embolisms. Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to have numerous health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer. Omega-3 fatty acids can also help to lower inflammation in the body and improve brain function.

It is generally considered safe to take omega-3 supplements in recommended doses, which typically range from 250-500mg per day. However, it is always important to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplements or medications, as they can provide personalized advice based on your individual health status and medical history.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
