Will Taking Liv 52 Cause Release Of Dark Stool?

I had liv 52 two tablets because my alt test result was 50. The next day after having liv 52 i had dark coloured stool and on that same day doctor told me to go for alt test and stool culture and stool parasite test. The doc said that I might have got hapititis as the result is 50 and I just came from Mexico. what do you think what is this which is bothering me?
